Let’s face it- supercars are expensive. Oftentimes the supercars we want have prices stretching up well into the six-figure range.

EXOTIC CARS

1.Lotus Elis

The Lotus Elise has all the specifications of a compact city car on paper, being a mere 150 inches long, but it has all the force and exoticism of a supercar. Equipped with a 1.8-liter supercharged Toyota four-cylinder engine, the Lotus Elise can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 4.2 seconds.

The Elise has a sleek, exotic look. It sacrifices cargo space for  A power-to-weight ratio of 235hp per ton. For a car averaging at about $35,000, the Lotus Elise is pretty impressive.

2. Audi R8

Yes, the Audi R8 is 11 years old- but that’s what makes it a classic. This legendary car shares roughly 505 of the same parts as the R8 GT3 LMS race car! This early-model 4.2-liter V-8 engine has a top speed of 187mph, as well as a 0-60mph time of 4.4 seconds.

A new Audi R8 costs about $160,000, but luckily for enthusiasts on budget, depreciation has severely reduced this cost to about $50,000, a value expected to drop to as low as $30,000 in the next 5-10 years.

3. De Tomaso Pantera

Greatly valued for their unique design and “owner fixable” V8 engine, the Pantera is the car owner’s gateway to tinkering on their own vehicles.

How much you pay for a Pantera depends on how much you care for authenticity. An unrestored original-condition Pantera can reach six figures at auction, and that’s not even counting the price you’ll pay to bring that car to a roadworthy condition. Panteras which are highly modified may hold less intrinsic value, but they are more affordable. A solid, functioning driver should cost roughly $85,000.

4. Dodge Viper GTS

The Dodge Viper GTS truly performs as well as it looks. This GTS introduced back in 1996 is equipped with an 8.0-liter V10 engine capable of 450 horsepower and 490 foot-pounds of torque.

With a front design that does not entirely not resemble the 1997 Bat Mobile, the Dodge Viper are wildly renown for their looks and performance… but infamous for their difficulty to drive. This is not a beginner’s car, despite that plenty could afford the $40,000 needed to purchase this car.

5. Aston Martin DB9

Behold, Aston Martins are starting to dip below $30,000. Along with a 0-60mph speed of 4.7 seconds thanks to a 6.0-liter V12 engine, this aerodynamic beast can produce 420 pound-feet torque.

If owning a V12 Aston Martin is your dream, there isn’t a better time to buy. Keep in mind that since the very first Aston Martin models are over fifteen years old, so maintaining the vehicle will not be a breeze, but if you are ready to handle that, the V12 waits for you.

6. Acura NSX

The Acura NSX is a brand new, two-seat center-engine exotic car with a powerful V6 engine. More mechanically reliable than a Ferrari, the NSX first came out in the 1990s.

Early models of this vehicle can be found around $30,000, however the car is no longer losing value so the car will not cost you too much to own, even if you intend to keep it for a long time.

7. Chevrlot Camaro ZL1

The Chevrolet Camaro checks all the boxes of a standard sports car- but the ZL 1 takes the vehicle to an all new level. This particular model comes equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine.

Within the car you will find an 8-inch screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and many, many safety features. All of this, and the car is priced at around $60,000, which isn’t cheap, but it is certainly a steal for a car of this caliber.

8.Nissan GT-R

The standard engine for the 2018 Nissan GT-R is a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine which produces 565hp. The GT-R has all of the requisite needed for an optimally comfortable and smooth ride, but unfortunately, the price has risen over the past couple of years.

The lowest starting price of the Nissan GT-R is just under $100,000.
