Those that are looking to get their hands on a 70th
Anniversary Special Edition Ferrari may have their work cut out for them. There
is a strong possibility that these limited edition vehicles will only be
offered to existing Ferrari customers that have a proven track record of
purchasing special edition models. Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles,
made the announcement about these limited edition Ferraris to a group of buyers
during last weekend’s Ferrari Cavalcade in Venice.
History suggests that these vehicles may be mostly cosmetic
versions of the current production supercars that will display carbon-fiber
accents and limited edition paint schemes. Ferrari may choose to upgrade the
power and performance of the 70
th Anniversary Special Edition fleet
due to the importance of this milestone. We may have to wait until the Paris
Auto Show in October to find out.
