The McLaren Inaugural Ice Driving Experience is not ground breaking in any way. What separates McLaren’s efforts from the remaining competition is that the British automaker has chosen to bring the current lineup of supercars that consist of rear engined, twin turbo, rear wheel drive examples. Negotiating these vehicles around an icy landscape will be much more challenging than attempting to tackle frozen tundra in an all-wheel drive model. Those that are interested in participating in this experience should bring approximately $15,000 with them. When considering the price tag that is associated with other events of this caliber, the Inaugural Driving Experience presented by McLaren is a real bargain for those that like to play in the snow.
