EXOTIC CARS

The most obvious change taking place for the next gen Porsche Panamera is the removal of the hatchback for a much sleeker design that is rather similar to the very popular 911 lineup. The front of the new Porsche Panamera receives an upgraded fascia and new grille design, headlights, and foglights. The changes to both the front and the rear help to provide the next gen Panamera with a look that is more consistent with a four-door coupe than a stretched-out hatchback. The rear of the vehicle benefits from a new taillight design that provides for a more aggressive look that runs the length of the rear. Reflective strips are now present just above the dual exhaust pipes that are found on both sides.

To help stir up excitement about the unveiling to take place in less than one week, Porsche has released a teaser video for the next gen Panamera that was filmed at the famed Nurburgring in Germany. The teaser videos shows a team of professional drivers donned in white racing suits admiring the new Panamera as the vehicle sits under a matching white cover. The drivers pull back the cover providing the audience with a glimpse of the Porsche emblems displayed on the wheels and the front nose of the sedan. While the official performance stats will not be available until the unveiling next week, the next generation Porsche Panamera will ride on the MSB platform and is likely to have the current model’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine. Rumors are also swirling that a 4.0-liter Twin-turbo V-8 option is also very likely.
