The Lazareth LM 847 is equipped with a 4.7-liter V8 Maserati engine that delivers 470 hp at 7000 rpm and 457 lb-ft or torque at 4750 rpm. To manage the weight of the massive engine, this motorcycle is equipped with four wheels. Each wheel is mounted to an individual single-sided swingarm with the front wheels using perimeter-mounted brake discs.

Not since the Dodge Tomahawk have we seen such a massive powerplant placed into a motorcycle configuration. This latest excursion into insanity was designed by Ludovic Lazareth who unveiled his superbike at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show. Since then, the Maserati powered motor cycle has been keeping a low profile until video recently surfaced of the 4.7-liter V8 superbike in action.
