The story of SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park is paved with competition and collaboration. Born from the strategic merger of industry pioneers Exotics Racing and Speed Vegas, we have evolved from separate entities into a single, world-class destination.
But our true engine has always been passion. We are a group of professional racers turned entrepreneurs driven by a single goal: to share the adrenaline of the track with the world. We believe the thrill of driving a supercar shouldn’t be reserved for the elite. By uniting our fleets and expertise, we have made the dream of driving a supercar on a real racetrack an affordable reality for everyone.
Today, we are proud to be the world’s most diverse driving destination. Whether you want to conquer the dirt in a Baja Race Truck or battle friends on our Go-Kart tracks, we have created a place where passion meets performance. But we aren't slowing down. With new developments and expansions already in the works, the Speed Vegas experience is only getting bigger.
SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park didn’t appear overnight. It’s the result of years of passion, racing victories, and bold entrepreneurship, all driven by a single vision: to bring world-class driving experiences to Las Vegas.
It all began with Exotics Racing, founded in 2009 by professional race car driver Romain Thievin and investment banker David Perisset. Their idea was simple but groundbreaking: to give anyone the chance to drive exotic supercars on a real racetrack, with professional coaching and safety. Exotics Racing quickly became one of the top attractions in Las Vegas, welcoming not just car enthusiasts, but also visitors looking for something truly unique and unforgettable.
In 2015, a new competitor entered the scene, SPEED VEGAS. With its own purpose-built racetrack and facilities, the company shared a similar dream of making the thrill of driving a supercar on a racetrack accessible to everyone. The two businesses competed in the same space for several years, each refining the art of delivering high-performance driving experiences.
Meanwhile, Exotics Racing expanded its offerings with Vegas Superkarts, launched in 2019, adding an outdoor go-kart track to its lineup. SPEED VEGAS also diversified with the creation of Vegas Off-Road Experience, where guests could experience the power of Baja race trucks on their 1-mile dirt track.
By 2021, it became clear that the best way forward was collaboration, not competition. Exotics Racing and SPEED VEGAS officially merged, creating a single, world-class destination: SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park.
The merger brought together all three activities under one name: Exotics Racing, the premier supercar driving experience; Vegas Superkarts, real racing thrills on a purpose-built outdoor kart track; and Vegas Off-Road Experience, a hands-on off-road driving experience in powerful Baja trucks.
Today, SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park stands as one of the most complete motorsports destinations in the world. Operated by a passionate team of racers turned entrepreneurs, the park continues to grow and innovate, offering unforgettable experiences to thrill seekers, car lovers, and anyone looking for something extraordinary to do in Las Vegas.

A French race car driver, six-time national champion, stuntman, and TV host, Romain Thievin has lived his life at full throttle. After founding Cascade Events in France, a company dedicated to organizing driving experiences, he traveled the world searching for the perfect place to take his concept to the next level. His journey eventually led him to Las Vegas, a city built on excitement and entertainment, the ideal home for his vision.
In 2009, Romain launched Exotics Racing, introducing Las Vegas to its first purpose-built racetrack designed specifically for supercar driving experiences. His unique background in Hollywood stunt driving gave him a special edge, blending precision, adrenaline, and showmanship into every aspect of the business. As Matt Damon’s stunt double in The Bourne Identity, Romain famously drove the red Mini Cooper through the streets of Paris, a performance that earned him the World Stunt Award. Since then, Romain has transformed Exotics Racing into a global benchmark for both safety and excitement, welcoming guests from all around the world. Today, as CEO of SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park, he continues to push the limits of innovation and excellence, refining every detail of the racetrack and operations with the same determination that made him a champion on and off the track.

David Perisset is a former investment banker turned racer who brought financial expertise and strategic vision to the world of motorsports. In 2009, after several years with Rothschild Bank and Lehman Brothers, David and Romain co-founded Exotics Racing in Las Vegas, introducing a new concept where anyone could drive the world’s most desirable supercars on a professional racetrack.
David played a key role in shaping the business model and building what would become the largest and most diverse fleet of supercars available to the public.
An accomplished driver himself, David has competed in the European NASCAR Touring Series, where he consistently achieved podium finishes. His blend of businessman and racing passion helped establish Exotics Racing as a global success story.
Since 2023, David has taken on a more behind-the-scenes role as Founding Partner of Exotics Racing and Owner of SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park, continuing to support the company’s long-term vision while focusing on new ventures.

Mike Self has always combined a love for adventure with an entrepreneurial spirit. After graduating from the USC Marshall School of Business, he followed his passion for motorsports and founded Vegas Off-Road Experience (VORE) at just 21 years old. His innovative “Arrive and Drive” concept opened the door for anyone to experience the excitement of desert racing behind the wheel of real off-road trucks.
Mike’s creativity and drive soon caught the attention of major automotive brands. His collaborations with Ford led to the creation of the Raptor School and Mustang Drift School, two programs that showcased his ability to turn high-performance vehicles into unforgettable experiences. As a racer himself, he’s competed in legendary events like the Mint 400 and Baja 500, proving that his passion extends well beyond the business side of motorsports.
When Vegas Off-Road Experience became part of SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park, Mike helped bring authentic off-road racing into the park’s lineup. Although he is not involved in the daily operations today, his influence remains part of its foundation, and his pioneering vision continues to shape how guests experience off-road adventure in Las Vegas. .

Sam Schmidt began his career as an IndyCar driver and went on to become a successful entrepreneur with ventures spanning healthcare, auto parts and motorsport. A life-changing crash in 2000 left him quadriplegic, but he refused to be defined by limits. Following the accident, Sam founded Sam Schmidt Motorsports, a team that went on to achieve multiple pole positions at the Indianapolis 500 and success in the IndyCar series.
Beyond the track, Sam created Conquer Paralysis Now (formerly the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation) to fund groundbreaking research and support the DRIVEN NeuroRecovery Center in Las Vegas. He also proved what technology combined with willpower can achieve: driving highly-modified Corvettes controlled via head and breath sensors, reaching speeds above 200 mph despite his paralysis.
As a partner in SPEED VEGAS Motorsports Park, Sam brings a level of inspiration and vision that underscores the belief that motorsport is as much about spirit as speed.

Evens Stievenart combines a career in endurance racing with sharp business leadership.
A two-time 24 Heures du Mans Vélo champion with a world record of 950 km in 24 hours, Evens is built for endurance. He also conquered the Race Across America, winning the 2-person category in 2019 — one of the toughest ultra-cycling events on the planet. Before that, he dominated the ice circuits of the Andros Trophy, claimed victories at the Le Mans Classic in a Porsche 908, and competed in numerous GT and prototype series across Europe. He built his reputation on strategy, stamina, and precision. Joining SPEED VEGAS as COO, Evens oversees daily operations and long-term growth, applying the same discipline that fueled his racing success. His deep knowledge of performance driving ensures that every customer experience, whether in a Ferrari, a go-kart, or an off-road truck, is both thrilling and professional.

His accomplishments include two victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, wins at the 24 Hours of Bahrain and 24 Hours of Morocco. He also achieved top finishes in Formula Renault, Porsche Sprint Challenge, NASCAR Europe, French GT3 Championship and the GT4 South European and French Series and has performed Formula 1 hot laps for the Alpine F1 Team, showcasing his skill at the highest level of racing.
Fred joined Exotics Racing in 2013, where his deep motorsport expertise became central to shaping the on-track operations. Today, as Vice President of Track Operations at SPEED VEGAS, he oversees all driving activities from supercars to go-karts and off-road trucks, ensuring the park operates with the highest precision, structure, performance, and safety standards.
